These don't mean anything without TDs and Ws, but:
- Darius Joseph is 3rd in the country with receptions of 39.
- JJ is 12th (Gabe Marks is 5th FYI).
- SMU has the 11th highest average passing yards per game at 330.
- GG has the 13th most passing yards with 1291 after 4 games.
We won't say anything about defensive stats . . . and our offensive interceptions and sacks.

Meaningless to be sure with the record and performance to date. Meaningful as the stats were put up against the hardest OOC schedule in the nation.
If these guys continue, and they will not face the teams we have already faced, then they could really light up the games to come.

Hate to say it but sounds a lot like Mummes teams at NMSU. I think their qb was a kid named chase Holbrook who piled up some stats while going 3-something, 4-something etc
Edit: 2006 for instance. 4600 yds in a 4-8 season. Over 3 years, he threw for nearly 12000 yards averaging between 7 and 9 yards an attempt. Sounds familiar.
