Fresno St lit them up like a Christmas tree. Gilbert could have a career day.

We will not face the corners we saw in the last two games. That will help the receivers get open. Our O line should look better as the athletes on the Rutgers D line will not be the same we have seen. GG should be on fire against this team.

They might as well have been coroners.

Are we going to be getting Fresno State's QB and receivers because that's the only way we're going to be lighting anyone up.

Let's all hope their Db's and safeties don't hollar 'boo' or our WR's will likely drop the ball.

After all - Oct. is hallowen month

GG's going to have to let go of the ball to get his career day passing. But then the receivers are going to have to catch the damn thing.

I'm still waiting for our WRs to get some separation and then for our QB to see them and throw accurately enough to hit them in stride...something Colt Brennan and his WRs at Hawaii did so frequently in JJs last year there...oh, and with the occasional 5 yd or better run to keep the defense honest

Gilbert simply doesn't process things quickly enough and gets happy feet if his first or second read isn't available. I will concede that our WR's haven't helped him at all with the drops and inability to create separation.

I wouldn't be surprised if Rutgers' backup corners pick off Gilbert multiple times.

^^^^^^ I agree. Put Neal Burcham in so the fans have something to be excited about! Gilbert is not a Division 1 QB. It's time to move on.

June did say that SMU had speed that some AAC teams had not seen. I would think he was talking about Rutgers.
