There is a possibility that we could introduce a controlled, responsible [beer sales] model as early as this January when Moody reopens.

I did NOT just read this! Fantastic

We should be offering free keg stand competitions during TV timeouts for football games to get the frats to actually attend a damn game.

Moody should not need beer to sell out. And what is the point of buying premium seating if the only benefit was the bar?

How is the bar the only benefit? The seats are closer than the non-premium seats, that is commonly accepted as a benefit.

True. But the bar was a big benefit to me. It's ok. You can judge.

I am more concerned with whether or not they are expanding the meatball room for the anticipated increase in attendance.

 Very funny.
I'm not against selling beer. Our stores sold beer etc. On our Indian lands I learned to make a lot of things like shine because it's legal there. I don't drink it though. :)

One of my sisters who is a ponyfan too and enjoys chatting on the boulevard lost her baby this week and it's been a tough time.

Hello, again.
Just some comments on this whole thing. JJ, attendance etc. As far as JJ is concerned, 3 blowouts against P5 teams is real bad. Real bad. JJ needs to go. The ASU fans new about JJ, and no matter what he say's, they did not want him. If SMU wants to be a big boy, then be big boys and play big boys. As far as the idea of going to Methodist churches, or UMC, that's good. I don't think there are many Methodists in Texas though. We can drink, right? Per UMC dogma. So how about going into minority bars and advertise? Sell tickets in those bars. Yes go to the UMC's, but also get everyone else involved, in Dallas. Yes the Gay bars, Black bars, Hispanic bars and sell alcohol at games. You may make the news, but it's better than no news. If SMU keeps on this path, there will be no SMU football in a few yr.s

Agreed except for all the bars you mention last 3 sentences. I think going to more wholesome places would be better for us. Also, drinking I dont think will help with attendance at all, if anything, marginal at best.

Drive to the nearest ER and tell them you are having a manic episode. They will be able to help you.
