Every game!

It's such a joke. We are the least prepared team in nation. Mistakes, missed assignments, penalties, no offense execution, terrible special teams. Do these guys even practice, seriously? Do the coaches ever coach?

No mistakes this game. Our defense is just getting overpowered.

Let me add turnovers to the list, and did I mention penalties?

Uh who is the kick return moron who keeps takin the ball out after the kicking team is already ran past the 25 to smoke his rear... We always seem to start out on the 15 rather than 25 which psychs the defense into thinking hey they suck let's get them! WRs from what I remember didn't drop too many passes but did remember seeing a few very important game changer passes. Also Johnson has heart but he freaking needs to remember ball comes first before making highlight reels. Defensive line and offensive line need some underground steroids cause they're getting pushed around in past 5 games...

Also remember we need to we need to go 5-1 but if it making a bowl were to guarantee JJs departure for a reasonable coach I would rather have that thn going to some crap bowl like Hawaii (which thank God we won't have to worry about that for now)

WE did decrease our penalties. Very few stupid penalties. Only one turnover (fumble/bad snap). No interceptions. So we did improve in some areas and that improvement help keep us in the game.

One very key problem the last few games has been the punter and his shanks. Booming 13 and 13 yard punts from deep in our territory have placed the defense in very tough spots. When the O is already in FG position or only needs ten yards to get to field goal position, its dang near impossible for even the best defense to keep points off the board.

The D stepped it up in the 4th quarter. WE did get a glimpse of what this D is capable of doing. Maybe that 4th quarter performance was an ah-ha moment for our D that they can play better and stop other teams. Put that kind of effort together for 4 quarters and we become a very hard team to beat.

It was better, but do keep in mind the limited # of turnovers was due to one thing: lucky bounces after our receivers fumbled away multiple long gains (recovered by us or luckily kicked out of bounds by Rutgers).

I really don't understand the incentive to run back kick-offs anymore. What percentage of KO returns end up past the 25? Unless it drops at the 5-10, I'd say let it go.

agree

Also, it took us 3.5 quarters to start playing decent. I just dont get the execution. Our practices must be pretty poor.

Rutgers let the air out of the ball in the 4th quarter. They even pulled that RB that shredded us (eventually got put back in during OT and won the game for them) because they thought the game was over.

Most of the kickoffs were not traveling to the end zone. You cannot afford to let them hit the ground (you saw what happened on the one that did). I agree if the kick goes more than a yard or 2 deep into the end zone, just take a knee but there were not very many opportunities for that.

What kickoff bounces on the 5 and doesn't go in the end zone? I've seen some backwards "English" put on punts, but never a kick-off...???

You do not often see people let kickoffs bounce unless it is near the sideline. I have no problem with not letting kicks bounce, it is returning them from inside the end zone that is silly. It is especially silly when you are moving backwards as you catch it and then slip as you start to run forward like Deion Jr did on the opening kickoff.

Right, we looked horrible for well over three quarters of the game, and the defense couldn't come up with one stop in any of the three overtimes.
