Keep the Blues!

Looking at all these other games being televised, no one has that blue like we do (EVERYONE it seems wears red). We need whatever we can get to distinguish us from other schools. If we had come back and won, we could call them our "lucky blues" and it would be an easy argument,
SID, what are the chances we make a permanent change? I'm sure the jerseys weren't cheap, why just throw them away? Is there any chance we can get them with Nike permanently for next year? (assume we're locked in with the others for this year - unless we have a permanent home game "throwback" theme all year). And I, for one, like the big SMU across the front. I wouldn't really change anything else.

When we were going for the 2 pt conversion, the scoreboard kept flashing mustang mania, the team was in blue, and the few people around me were going crazy, and it made me remember why I follow this team instead of my family's team (oklahoma state). I couldn't be more disappointed in the outcome of the game today but it gave me hope that eventually, maybe, we will be good again and I will have a good team to cheer for in a great home atmosphere at the school I will graduate from. Great game today, besides all the frustrations and questionable plays. I'm hooked on SMU football again (and Ive been pretty down on it lately) from this game and now everytime we get blown out Ill just be thinking about how we came back against Rutgers haha and everyone of my friends will still think I'm crazy like always. Great stuff Gilbert.
