I've sat in the rain, snow, 106 degree heat and worse... I just loved seeing my team in the old colors.

Red is incredibly unoriginal. The blues are great.

Lol this is where I disagree but I would be in favor of doing 3 games red and 3 blue depending on our opponents colors such as tech and Rutgers we wear blue and playing aggies or UCF we wear red.

Nowadays with the crazy uniforms colleges wear some good (see: Stanfords black uniforms) and some terrible (See: Arizona States helmets tonight) we should have a blue / red combination of uniforms to alternate. Ole miss does and it looks good

I concur. We are Harvard red and Yale blue after all let's be proud of both of our colors!

I like the matte/frosted finish with the chrome logo that ND was rocking. If we ever decide to do a red helmet, we should to it like this, matte/frosted red with a large chrome Peruna.

The most energy I have experienced i Ford. The students moving to the south end zone for the OT was a first and truly a great move. And I do think their enthusiasm at that end was a plus for the team.

While the colors are being debated I suggest we compromise for the time being and wear white to our next game.

Nope. It's smu red and smu blue. Check out the official website which says:

"The University’s first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as the school colors to symbolize SMU’s high standards. The colors are much darker than the red and blue used today, which we call SMU Red and SMU Blue."
