Probably old news but I noticed on the replays of the Bengals game a guy I thought was Margus. He is listed as active. When did he become active and how has his season been so far?

I think yesterday was the first game he was active. I do not know if or how he played.
So I guess my response is kind of worthless.

He got in on several series yesterday but didn't do anything to speak of. Had a nice bull rush up the middle one time on a stunt and pressured Brady a little but other than that was handled pretty easily. Cincinnati has a great defensive line so he's not going to get much PT. On another front didn't notice Davis play at all for the Pats not even special teams. Great defensive game to watch though!

Thanks. Good to see him playing.

They used Margus a few different ways in terms of technique. Zimmer was using his bull rush and lateral movement to help dictate the pocket shape for the patriots. Scheme was effective, but the stat line wasn't. He recorded a QB hit.

I watched the last drive by NE in the pouring rain. Margus was on the field for every play. He almost got to Brady a couple of time. As Dairy Crampus said, he bull rushed nearly every snap. He's got a lot to learn but physically he belongs out there.

It was also interesting watching him drop back into pass coverage a few times when the Bengals blitzed. Sports folks up here spoke well of his first game. He was in for Michael Johnson who had a concussion. Not nearly as dominant but anytime you play on a defense that holds NE to two field goals you count it as a success.
