I Thought K.C. Wasn't Getting Snaps Because of his Blocking?

In the first quarter alone against Rutgers, Line misses two blitzers on the same play to give up a sack and Shead gets absolutely blown up by a smaller LB to give up a sack. K.C. Is our most talented back and the blocking from the other two backs is atrocious, so give the man some carries!

Prescott needs to be moved to LB. I'm not sure he can make an impact there either but he looks totally out of place at RB. He lacks the explosiveness and vision that made Zach such a great player.

Yes kc can't block but neither can the o-line. In this offense you go with best all around back(s) Shead and Line are the best all around backs (blocking, rushing, receiving). I think all three bring something to the game. Shead will hopefully find his footing, Line is where he should be based on his experience, kc is a good situational back. Lets go mustangs

Well I hope all the experts that screamed for JR over Parks learned their lesson with Rutgers. Sometimes the best you have may just not be good enough but that does not mean you do not stick with the best you have. I am not real high on the way our staff recruits but I am going to have to trust them on playing the best they have on the field.

Yeah, I agree. Shead looks a little timid to me, but I'm assuming that that's a combination of the knee injury and still learning the offense. If it were MY team, I'd start Shead and give him rest with Nlemchi. Line would only be brought in for extra depth when the other 2 guys need a break or, heck, even go loaded backfield with all 3 and pull in Gaines on goal line, 4 and inches crucial situations. I saw someone (was it Dallas?) pull TWO guys and hit the hole with 2 leads plus the OLineman.
Also, regarding devil's advocate on personnel, I feel our Oline is much better when we move Gottschalk down to guard and bring in Briggs at OT. Hughes seems to not be what we need. I'm high on Briggs, I think he's a special player and needs to start now. Too bad Ashcraft doesn't seem to be working out as I thought this line could be special with him at the other tackle . . . I'm hoping Weeks improves -- Rice seems solid and with Myers and McCarty, the future could be solid but who knows.

Trying to understand this team is like getting a golden shower from an elderly Amish minister while simultaneously toe banging a giraffe.... It's just awful and makes no sense
