Enough... Just ENOUGH!

I have been more than clear about my feelings towards JJ.

I beseech you, my fellow pony fans, to just stop... Enough is enough. WE WON THE GAME! Can we just please take 24 hours and enjoy this fleeting joy. No, it wasn't pretty, BUT WE WON! Can we focus on the kids, who we appreciate, and celebrate a victory? Hart is not going or is not empowered to do anything - especially mid season. To paraphrase, "We are where we are as a program".

Rambo - you played your heart out kid... Kudos.
Shead - The fumble was a bad mistake... Learn from it and move on.
Beau Barnes - Great pick kid!
GG - I like 99.9% of what you do. BUT, when in doubt throw it away and live to play another day. The pick 6 was ugly.
Chris Parks - good day and physical with WRs all day.

We all want better for our beloved alma mater.... We are just not there yet. Beating the dead JJ horse, especially after a win, wears thin after a while. Especially because nothing is going to change until after the season is over.

Enjoy the win. Wait until Monday before we start cannibalizing each other over the coach. Appreciate the fact that we won.

This is what the "I'm glad we won" thread is for.

Thank you.

We have a small handful of very devoted fans, SOME of which are on this board. Others, I have no idea why they even come on here.

You will have to get clearance on that from Zelt Minor.

You're right, 2-4 is cause for celebration. Go Ponies!

Hahahahahahahahahahaha ohhh what a victory! If anything we should be disappointed. Only smu could blow such a lead in matter of minutes. Truly a JJ team. JJ lovers go build another statue of him on your garden for his amazing conquest of the great and powerful tigers.... Memphis tigers that is. LSU would just be a preseason game anyways.

Any win is to be celebrated. Let's work on enjoying it and getting another one next week.

We didn't blow the game, only the blowout. Didn't Rutgers just blow a 21point lead to us TWICE in the same game.

Blow the game on mind because Memphis should have ended with 10 points or less. Heck ill say its a win if Memphis actually offensively scored at least two of the touchdowns. I mean geez this game was another highlight of our embarrassing season. Every game from here on out will be a nail biter or us getting blown out be mediocre teams (minus UCF who is actually good, beats BCS nationally rank teams and an upward trend)

What?

And regardless, we will win a few games this year. And I have high hopes that we can take down at least 2 of UCF, Cincy and UH.

TIL devoted fans can't have strong negative opinions about the direction of the program.

Sun shiner here.

When was the last game we gave,GAVE, away 19 points on a mere 3 turnovers and still won comfortably?

How about NEVER!

The mark of a well prepared, well executing team is one able to overcome so many costly mistakes. And we did today. The difference in TTU and RU was the turnovers turned into 6 (7) points. We won even spotting MSU 19 points!

Please don't get me wrong. As I left the stadium I told the MSU fans it was a most unsatisfying game for both the winner and the loser.

However, except for 3 plays and (really one punt return), we dominated. We gave up a quick 6 at the end of the 3rd quarter which we dominated and came back with a long drive. We played well on O and D. We screwed up 3 plays.

Sure, it will be a 'learning' experience for some watching film on Sunday but the majority of the film will be what our O and D did right.

We have Temple next week. Learn form a game were we outplayed Memphis for all four quarters but made it close on just 3 plays. Only one sack. Significantly less penalties (and penalties killed Memphis). Now protect the ball.
