I normally don't talk bad about our players, and that isn't the point if this thread, but I am seriously curious. Including his fumbles that were not lost, he seriously has to be fumbling one of out ever ten touches.

51 carries, 5 fumbles for Shead. That is one fumble for every 10.2 carries.

3rd and 24 in overtime against Rutgers. That is why Parks is in there. His replacement when he was hurt did not do so well.

That strip, wasn't a fumble. Watch replay again from end zone camera...his knee is down as they roll him over and strip the ball.

Shead is likely out for the season so at least we'll have some ball security now...

Methinks that when his knee hits, the football was already separated from his finger-tips. It was the correct call , same with the player being down.

The ball was stripped before his knee hit. Watch the replay again - you'll see that when they roll him over he didn't have the ball.

He is a fumble machine. Even when he is not fumbling, he looks terrified out there. Nlemchi and Line the rest of the way. Better ball security, runners and line is better pass protector.
