15 for 15

Temple was 15 for 15 in the first half. 4 TDs. Sure we took some bad angles and had blown coverages but that is still incredible execution. One really doesn't expect that level of accuracy at any point in the game and it sure contributed to our D looking inept that first half.

Yeah, they've found their QB for sure as evidenced by the recent offensive success of Temple. They might win a couple of games down the line.

We're going to face several more teams with the personnel to make our defense look inept. Not quite the "Top 25" unit Mason made them out to be huh?

Walker's first incomplete was off a blitz that was hitting him as he threw. He went 16-16 and the receiver was 1-1 for a total of 17-17 to start the game. That is really an amazing level of execution at any level.

Unfortunately we probably made Temple look better than they really are on offense.

Upon listening to some of the defensive players in postgame, it sounds like we were not properly prepared in the first half - we weren't expecting them to come out in the spread and so we had to adjust at halftime. Hmm. They had tape on that new QB, you would expect we would be prepared and it wouldn't take a whole half to get adjusted. Maybe one possession, but not an entire half.
