If we keep winning, we'll jump up. Simple as that. We might be below TCU at #7 by the end of the season. Our 4 losses don't help our cause.

Who are our wins against? Montana St, Memphis, and Temple.

And two of our four losses against Top 15 teams. Inconclusive. We'll see in the next few weeks what this team is made of.

The argument I think Reb is making is why we should not be ranked in head of Rice. We have not beaten anyone that would rank us ahead of Rice. Until we do they deserve to be ahead of SMU. If we win at Cincinnati then we have a legitimate argument.

Right. It's inconclusive. Not enough data. We get spanked by Cincinatti, I will be worried. This team's M.O. has always been to get better and better as the season goes on.
