We should beat USF and UConn. I think Cincy and UH are tossups. UCF should probably be penciled in as a loss at this point. I will say we end up 6-6 and a trip to the Whatever.com Bowl. Better than TCU who will likely be watching postseason football games from home. Of course, they beat us by 31 points and still get a $20MM check for their Big 12 membership each year.
Most important thing will be seeing how much the CoC and University wants to pay our next coach

As Stallion or someone pointed out in another thread, we have let the conference competition score in the Red Zone 100% of the time. Come on Mason get these boys on track. GG/Receivers have been working miracles and they will carry us on the offense. I am staying as positive as possible, since anything can happen in college ball, but give us some help, Defense! Make it happen.

Tom Mason is a great coach. I've got a lot of faith in him.

I think he is a good coach too, and we started to see some glimpses Saturday of the aggressive D that he has been known for up until the beginning of this season. I think we'll see more if the JJ rumors are in fact true because at this point Mason is auditioning for his next job with these last games. D has got to step up more consistently; I think they're capable, and Mason just needs to let 'em loose.

If JJ is out after this season, I hope the new coach retains Mason and Jason Phillips. PRobably not realistic, though.

This thread is made of fail. If SMU wanted to be in control of its destiny then they should have beaten Rutgers.

But we are in control of our destiny along with UL, UC, UCF, and UH, (excluding Louisville) we still play the best/worst teams in the conference and win all those, we win the conference. BCS goes to top rated, so out of our control.
