Should be a good game. Could go either way imo.

I like to put conference teams in 4 Tiers... good, above average, below average, and bad
UCF
Louisville
Houston
----------------------
Rutgers
Cincy
--------------------
SMU
USF
-------------------
Memphis
Temple
UCONN
Talent wise, we probably should be in that second tier at least, but we haven't played to that level yet. But we are playing a team that is a tier above us on the road.
I think Cincy will be favored by at least a touchdown, because we haven't been able to win any games against decent teams yet.

Cincinnati has more talent and SMU. I don't know how you can to that conclusion that SMU has just as much talent as they have. They are faster. But with Tuberville coming in as a new coach, adjusting to a new system, and the lack of depth at QB now since the injury to Legaux we have a chance to beat them.

This will be a good test for this team. This isn’t A$M or TTU. Cinny has had a solid season but isn't at that top 25 level like others we have played.
After a couple of wins and two weeks to heal and prepare, we should be able to play a solid game against a solid opponent. And we need so folks healed (on D especially) and time to prepare.
Then again, we could curl up in the fetal position…

Not a reason to panic because I believe both teams will show up ready to roll. This game will not be on ESPN3 but but will be nationally televised imo.

Depends on what you consider to be nationally televised.

Cinncinati's backup turned starting QB has had 2 straight nice games-not sure that is really too much of an issue any more

Agreed. He looks solid to me. We need to go do what UH did. Go take care of business on the road against a solid team (for our conference). Very impressive what they did. (I still think they are way over-rated though . . . UCF and Louisville are the best teams in our conference and it's not even close).

2 weeks to prepare. Let's see if this coaching staff can pull one out of their hats. Cincy at home and realistically more talented...but that's why they call them upsets.

We're a middle-of-the-road team as well, as in squished and mangled on the double yellow lines.

We are as bad as USF?
