Was listed as the Number 2 play of the month on ESPN last night. They talked about GGs arm strength in making that throw, and of course, the fabulous catch.

That was a fabulous play. GG was very athletic just to keep the play alive. Then make a long across the body throw away from his momentum to a receiver that made a textbook great catch.

Add in that it was a crucial play in the game and it all adds up to a great play.

I could sit and watch that play over and over all day long. The one thing I find both frustrating and impressive about gg's arm strength: it seems like when he is on his back foot (where his balance should take away from velocity of the ball), he manages to OVER throw his target. When he gets his feet set properly and gets over the ball he is usually very accurate, but not many QB's out there who can have a negative center of balance like that and overshoot his target.

It's day to night, this year to last year. I hope before the season is over, the defense catches up to the offense and we finally have a 'whole' team.

Two critical plays in that game...the 2 pointer and (shudder) 3rd and 24. till don't understand how we messed that up. Cost us the game.

all part of a great comeback; was too bad the guys couldn't finish that game. If they can beat Cincy and go on to a bowl game and have a winning record this year, that 2nd half against comeback against Rutgers will be touted as "the turning point"
