Best thing that ever happened to Chadron State. Before this, how many on here even knew of their existence?

That will really, and I mean really, show the Big Boys who’s the Boss! Saban, Miles, and others must be shaking in uncontrollable fear.

The NCAA is such a joke.

Classic. I like this part:
(Brett McMurphy wonders when this scheme comes to D-1. I wonder how many D-1 programs are already running it.)

The other thing I like is the coach got another coaching job and the university which had no knowledge gets left holding the bag of s.

NCAA - why do they even bother anymore?

I like that the coach didn't get caught until he started siphoning off too much. He took an entire $30,000 charity check and dumped it in his checking account. Ballsy.

How about this one by the NCAA:

NCAA STRIPS HOOPS PLAYER OF ELIGIBILITY FOR PLAYING IN CHURCH LEAGUE
http://www.myajc.com/news/sports/ncaa-church-league-game-disqualifies-centennial-gr/nbjBR/

Michael Harries, Nathan’s father, said, “It’s like an old man’s league — I could play in it.

“Some of the rulings that come from the NCAA don’t make sense. Johnny Manziel gets a half-game suspension for signing autographs. A guy plays three games in a church league, and he loses a year. Obviously there’s a difference between big-time athletes and small-time athletes with the NCAA.”

This is another example of the NCAA being long on rules but short on logic.

NCAA BS. Could not be more clear.

The recent issues coming up about NCAA rulings makes me feel that outcomes are more about a school's ability to leverage their power, as opposed to being consistent with their own rules. I haven't read the findings (nor am I going to), but shouldn't they be required to justify their results with past, and commensurate infractions?
