Interesting. One of the kids was causing a ton of fumbles in practice, but I think he was a safety and not a corner. That might be richardson. I would be surprised to see him jump mentes and Horace at corner. He may be coming in for Randolph at safety.

Both of them have made a lot of plays in practice for weeks now. Mason has said for weeks that they're both very talented, but their understanding of the defense has to catch up with their athletic ability. He has said a few times that Richardson has football instincts that exceed those of most freshmen, and said that Minor is among the most athletic linemen on the team, up there with Beau Barnes and Elie Nabushosi. Whether the two get bigger roles this week or later on, Mason and his defensive assistants have said repeatedly they have very high hopes for both.

Richardson, if I recall correctly, had some good offers coming out of HS such as Cincy and Marshall, among others. Let him play.
