Im watching closely, they're right on Fresno's heels in the BCS and threatening to jump the bulldogs. Im pulling for my hometown team to go to the Fiesta so I can spend new years in Phoenix.

No. Illinois Huskies are playing way above their pay grade. Happy for them and all non-BCS (Power 5) schools. Healthy development.

I always root for the mid majors growing up in fresno and going to smu, but nothing frustrates me more than knowing that some of these successful mid major programs that win a lot pay their coaches significantly less than we pay JJ. Not to make this a JJ hate thread, but these other non p5 coaches for the most part aren't sniffing as much as Jones is making.

Highest ranked non-AQ school gets BCS bowl if they are in top 16 and ahead of one of the AQ conference champions. Or, if the highest ranked non AQ school is in top 12 they do not have to be ahead of one of the AQ conference champions.

And right now, thanks to the great American conference, both N. Illinois and Fresno are above of an AQ team (UCF)

N. ILL was impressive with all their offensive sets. 2 tights, 4 wides, 3 backs, etc. Also both teams ran 4 man fronts on defense. Supposedly you have to have better talent to run 4-3. Like to see Minor inside with Wright and Barnes & Wood lined up outside some. Give the other team more to prepare for and I think it would help against the run.
