Take your message to the streets Nacho- or more appropriately, to the mass humanity of people who stay on the BLVD during the game or who never actually make it inside the stadium, not to a website that's only members are basically all die-hard SMU fans. I don't think anyone on this site is the problem.

I live in the Hartford area. I work for a company that has lots of Uconn grad. Their fans have not given up because they don't care. They don't even bother to complain.

They love basketball. Football is just a way to be in a better BB league.

On the line: At 3-5, SMU cannot afford to lose to a winless UConn team struggling to find its identity. With games against Houston and UCF looming, the Mustangs’ bowl hopes are in jeopardy so it is imperative for SMU to take care of business at home against one of the worst teams in college football.

When SMU has the ball: With June Jones at the helm, nothing is going to change. The Mustangs are going to continue to pass the ball a majority of the time and let Garrett Gilbert sling it. Gilbert has played exceptionally well this season and should be able to take advantage of a UConn defense giving up over 34 points per game.

When UConn has the ball: The Huskies are going with a new signal-caller this week in redshirt freshman Casey Cochran, who will be the third quarterback to start for UConn this season. Cochran is inexperienced and is prone to turn the football over at least a couple of times. In order to ease in Cochran, the Huskies will pound the ball with Lyle McCombs. The junior has rushed for 496 yards and four touchdowns this season.

Prediction: SMU has a habit of playing down to its opponents, but UConn has been absolutely terrible on both sides of the ball. Prediction: SMU 42, UConn 13.
