SuperStar Freshman LB Myles Jack has run for TD. He now is Bruins 4th leading tackler AND 5th leading rusher on the season

Nice double pass by UCLA-hey Jeremy Johnson still hasn't thrown a pass yet-June used to pull the WR pass out of his bag of tricks -maybe saving for a big game

I think Washington maybe wearing the "saran-wrap" silver chrome-it doesn't look consistently smooth on close-ups. Looks fine from a distance but definitely some indentions and scratched surfaces on Linemen for example

Myles Jack the LB just scored his 3rd TD of the Nite and 4th in 2 weeks as a RB

I see that the UCLA QB is the most sacked in the country... Who coaches their OLine?

Nice try. UCLA is only about 81st in Sacks Allowed-way above SMU at 107. And I not sure of exact numbers but they are starting about 3-4 freshman OLine and even more in the two deep because they signed the No. 1 OLine class in the Country. Hey there's a 4th goal line rushing TD by Myles Jack the RB/LB-must be great goal line blocking

Here's story on 3 TRUE freshman starting OLine and it mentions more on 2nd team. Also refers to all the injuries suffered by starters. I think I've read they are playing like 5-6 true or redshirt freshmen in OLine.. Quisenberry is another and the kid we had committed at Center was 2nd string earlier in season. What's SMU's excuse-I know its not great recruiting?

I must have misread, there was a stat on the screen about sacked QBs and GG was third, ucla's was top.

Thought it was worth a Friday night prodding on PF :)

Adrian Kleem only OLM Coach in NCAA history to both recruit and start 3 TRUE freshman on a Top 13 or higher team? Very likely

UCLA has 4 RBs out and now playing a kid that is 5'3" at RB-still have 224 yards rushing averaging 5.0 per carry with 4 rushing TDs. Not bad with about 7-8 players out in running game

We can lament the loss of Klemm all we want, but he was eventually going to be snapped up by a bigger program. Just like Maligi will be eventually

Probably right-I just don't like the Agenda of the apologists. He was headed back to LA because that's his home ground. As for Maligi-if SMU wants to be national program its time to pay up. His home ground is DFW. I'd rather pour money into recruiting staff than an IPF any day of the week. Its not even close. Not my money but if you want to invest in SMU invest into recruiters like him.

I think there is no question that recruiting is linked to almost every facet of success. Good recruiting brings talent (duh!) but it also brings public attention, especially if the talent is local. I'm an educator at heart so I will always prize philosophy and teaching, but I can see that being recognized in DFW high school locker rooms is the grass roots we really need.
