Just going over the scenarios left for our conference....
It looks like to me IF
Houston beats Cincy
Rutgers beats UCF
UCF beats USF
SMU wins out
Cincy beats Louisville
Then there is a potential for the conference standings to look like....
UCF 6-2
Louisville 6-2
SMU 6-2
Cincy 6-2
Houston 5-3
How would that be decided?
Granted a very unlikely scenario.....

We just need to worry about winning 2 of the next 3. It starts in Tampa this Saturday night. If we can get the win against USF then who knows....maybe we can get a win down in Houston and make that last game against UCF pretty interesting.

To decide what? For the BCS game, it would probably be highest BCS ranking. As for the other bowls, overall record and/or fan following would carry more weight.

More likely scenario is a tie between UCF and Cincinnati at 6-1. Who would rate higher in the BCS do you think?

In this ridiculous scenario, the highest-ranked team in BCS would get the AQ spot. (Maybe Louisville??)
UCF has the best shot to go 8-0. I really don't think SMU is up to the challenge, but I will be there cheering my [deleted] off for the upset.
Lousiville is pretty much done unless UCF loses two games.
Cincy would need UCF to lose only one game (or two games if Louisville loses a game) and would have to jump UCF in the BCS rankings, which would be difficult considering they're not ranked right now.
Houston needs a miracle.
SMU is officially eliminated.
If your scenario plays out, it's possible The American would not have any teams in the BCS top 25, and I have no idea how that will play out.

If SMU wins out we will all be impressed and some may go into shock

Our team just needs to figure out how to get to 6 wins. Next game should bring us to 5-5 (Should be 7-3) and they need to figure out a gameplan that can stop UCFs running attack and how to move the ball efficiently against UH. I think our best bet will be against cougar high, however it is an away game that puts us in a disadvantage. The UCF team will be tougher but fortunately isnt in a hostile environment. My beginning of the year prediction was at best 5-7. I think if our team on both sides of the ball play solid 4Qs we will go bowling... one can only hope at this point. I just hope that if we somehow go 7-5/6-6 that doesnt keep JJ here...
