What's the deal with Loftus? He seemed to have a pretty big leg. I'm guessing it's all mental with him.

Morstead had a coach named Ganz who turned him into the consummate kick guy. Huge deal when you have a special teams coach so special.

Morstead might also have been the most focused, dedicated, and driven player in the history of the program. I know that's a bold statement, but the kid had an absolutely laser-like focus on his short, medium, and long-term goals. His planning was obsessive, meticulous, and comprehensive. And he nailed every single goal he set. It's without a doubt the most impressive example of dedication and determination to achieve professional goals that I've ever personally seen and known about.
