My sister chose it because her fiance took a job in Houston and there weren't many options. They both hate Houston btw and are looking to relocate to Dallas asap. As for my dad he was not fortunate to receive offers from SMU but UH was willing to offer him a full ride plus cash benefits so he decided to take what he could.
