The last time any of our "too-tough-can't-compete" non-conference opponents won a game. They've put up goose eggs 3 weeks in a row now.

The schedule was not too tough; we were not prepared.

agreed.

This was the BEST schedule SMU could have dreamed up in over 25 years.

We should be 10-1 right now, ranked #15 and headed towards a BCS bowl game.

Oh, and our game against UCF would be a sell-out with proper marketing.

Cincinnati and Houston overachieved-the others are having disappointing seasons and I'd say about 5 teams are having shockingly disappointing seasons. I certainly didn't expect some of these AAC teams to be as incompetent as they are. Things really were set up to have a big year if the program was where it should have been in Year 6.
