Attendance to a great degree for SMU, and considering our troubles on the field this season, bad weather this weekend will absolutely KILL the remaining few fans, especially us living in Arkansas. I haven't seen what Mrydel and Ponyte are doing but as for me, the winter weather forecast for Arkansas beginning Thursday night dictates that i cancel my trip this weekend, as much as I hate to.

BUS, Erin and the rest at the BUS STOP, sorry guys! But I will be down for the opening BB game in January so I hope to see you then.

Ponyte and I have talked. An 80% chance of freezing rain and snow Friday night with a low in the teens probably means home in front of the TV. We have to leave town by 4:00am in good weather. On ice it would mean much longer or more likely death. I hate to miss any game, especially senior day, but unless something changes it does not look good.

No. When we watch here he has to listen to me recall my wonder years. And they get better and more detailed every year that passes.

But this particular instance I am pretty sure we will not watch together. He lives in a nice hilly area and cannot get out of his house when the ice comes.

I am keeping my fingers crossed. I haven't missed a closing home game in years. mrydel is right; To get out of my neighborhood I have to get up a hill with a minimum of 11 degrees grade (up to 18 in one spot). Ice is definitely a problem.

I've cancelled everything in Dallas and tomorrow I'm buying lots of Fritos and Cheese dip and wine. Wife knows to stay away from me Saturday during the game.

Ponyte and I will not make the call until late. Ours is a up and back drive so we have no reservations to cancel. But it does not look good. Hate to miss the last game first for the seniors and second because the odds say no bowl. So glad Coach Brown has given us a basketball season to enjoy.

These seniors deserve our attendance and apprecation afterwards, win or lose. Especially since the coaching staff thinks so little of them. Other programs honor their senior players before the game in front of the crowd...June gives a handshake and pat on the back down in a corner of an endzone 30 minutes after the game in front of parents(he doesn't even know most of them) and friends pretty much. How many of those seniors and their parents are going back to their hometowns and high schools and recommend future players come to SMU and play for Jones? 0000000000000000000.
