Anybody happen to catch June on Game Day this morning talking about Gatorade showers? It was said tongue in cheek (I think) but he stated they were outlawed on the team. I can think of exactly 5 times one would have even been called for since he got here.

Sabah was also on the show. Fowler asked him what he was doing today and he said "recruiting."

In fairness, with the average age of our staff we would also need a cardiologist on the sidelines. Think of the school's insurance premiums.

He was recruiting THE NEXT DAY after auburn game. Saban. An actual legend, as opposed to an imagined legend.

didn't a Gatorade shower in 20 degree weather kill George Allen. He was coaching at about 76 at a smaller California Division 1AA school and then entered hospital the next day with pneumonia and subsequently died. From Wikipedia
Death[edit]
Allen's death may have been indirectly caused by a Gatorade shower. He died on December 31, 1990, from ventricular fibrillation in his home in Palos Verdes Estates, California, at the age of 72. Shortly before his death, Allen noted that he had not been feeling well since some of his Long Beach State players dumped a Gatorade bucket filled with ice water on him following a season-ending victory over the University of Nevada, Las Vegas on November 17, 1990 (he remarked that the university couldn't afford actual Gatorade).

Noticed that comment Saban had about recruiting. . . Bet if someone had staked out D/FW Airport. Within a couple of hours after the UCF game, June would probably be boarding a flight to Honolulu
