obviously tickets sold which actually surprises me the count was that high. For those who attended, were the club seats and suites well attended or can you even tell?

The club seats/suites seemed at normal levels to me, but honestly you can't really tell beyond the first row of those seats who else could be in there.

Years ago we went to that game with California - Northridge and I suppose there were maybe 2,500 in the Cotton Bowl. I am sure there were not so many visible fans at Ford today.

ESPN did a good job of not showing the stands but I would have guessed less than 1,000 outside. Who was there that can give a good estimate?

In the first half, the west side was pretty full. The fans in section 104 should be embarrassed as UCF fans totally took over the whole section due to no-shows.

I would be surprised if it was more than that

Well I am sorry that 325 miles of ice kept me from kicking some UCF butt out of my seats. I asked Ponyte to have his daughter go down and get them out but I guess she was not able to get it done.

Certainly not directed at you mrydel. However, there are many in section 104 that live within a few miles of campus that didn't go. Very similar to the "blue seat" sections in the old Moody. Supposedly they've always been sold out, but yet except for big games, they are usually very empty.

+/- 2,500, it looked like a moderately attended HS game. Indoors seemed to have a good turnout. I second the 104 comment, blue hair richies were nowhere to be seen.

One positive, everyone was standing and no calls to "sit down"!

Good group of supporters near the north end zone. Very vocal for SMU and started a lot of the cheers. The question I kept asking myself is if all the circumstances were the same, except that we were battling UCF for the BCS spot, would the crowd have been more than 5k? I don think it would have been.

Hey I sit in 104 and to our credit we were at the game just not in our seats for most of the game. Decided to move around to keep the blood flowing to our blue hair feet. It was open seating and did not feel we had the right to kick the UCF fans out of our seats. I was just glad to see anyone at the game, even UCF fans.

I kicked a few UCF fans out of my seats in 104. At first I was annoyed by them sitting there in the first few rows, but they were good fans and very respectful. Made for a fun atmosphere.
