Silver Linings

Apologies to Mrydel.

Neal Burcham threw for 222 yards, no interceptions and showed nice touch on the 30-yard
touchdown pass to Keenan Holman. All in lousy playing conditions.

And before you write a negative response, kindly remember this is the Silver Linings thread. Plenty of room to criticize on dozens of other posts.

Agree - NB played pretty well - a good rebound from the Houston game. Lots of issues in the Houston game were not his fault.

Burcham looked a lot better yesterday and will return next year for what will be his 3rd year in this system (a level of experience that none of JJ's QBs at SMU have had to this point). Of course, that's assuming JJ returns and Burcham is playing in the same system.

JR Richardson displayed some athletic upside on his 38-yard kickoff return.
