Looking at the weak conference schedule and not having to play Rutgers again I would think they go to a bowl no matter who is coaching.

Could be an 8 win season.

Losses to TAMU, Baylor, TCU, UCF.
Beating Houston at home, UNT, Cincy and others

My 8 win estimate is accounting for our new coach. Offense needs to prepare for new playing style and it will take us 2 years to build up recruiting to start breaking in the 9 plus win seasons. Oh and after we stop playing BU out of conference...things will lighten up. Hopefully with new coach we could be ready to beat the Wolverines at the Big house in Ann Arbor! :) :D

Opponents are:

Baylor, TCU, A&M, NTSU, Houston, Memphis, UCF, USF, Tulsa, Tulane, ECU, UConn, Temple (not sure which one we won't play)

I'll take the over.

Are you saying that we will not play Cincinnati?

IMO losses are; baylor, tcwho, a&m, ntsu, houston, memphis, ucf and possibly tulane.
wins: usf (if we're lucky), tulsa, ecu and uconn.

that is assuming that we have the same disinterested coach.

Temple posted their 2014 schedule. . . SMU is not listed as an opponent

If we do not have to play Cincinnati we should be able to make it to a bowl game no problem.

Honestly, I need to see the schedule first, but I don't think we get over 6 even if we get the easiest schedule in the AAC. We had the easiest conference one this year and only got 5

I think that a lot of the aac teams are on the upswing- ala memphis, tulane etc. In the meantime we are on the downside of the slope. Poorer recruits, poorer coaching, poorer spec. teams coaches etc. as well as losing a lot of our talent.
