And in other news, June signs a contract through 2019 and declares to only try for bowl eligibility in 2015, 2017, & 2019 so that the team only goes to the Hawaii bowl.

That might explain JJ's even lower level of interest this year. No Hawaii bowl to shoot for. Must be really challenging for him to get motivated at all until 2015 and then trying to make sure the wins and losses work out to get to the Hawaii bowl. Can't win too many but enough to be eligible. Must be stressful.

Has anyone asked Gerald J Ford to pay for the Fiesta Bowl to move to Honolulu? That's the only way June would give us his full effort.

Do the BCS national championship in Hawaii every year and you'll see how we make it there!

So we can't go to any bowls?

Apparently the ACC has us locked out.

Well, it could be worse.

Miami, the Bahamas, Boca Raton, New Orleans, Annapolis, St. Pete, and Ft. Worth are all decent trips to make. Also, you have to think the AAC champ will compete for one of those major bowl slots each year against the other smaller conference teams.

That's my feeling-but I didn't expect much more for CUSA 2.0. I'd go to every bowl in this lineup because of great destinations so I kind of like it.

Also, Compass Bowl, Armed Forces, O'Brady, and Military bowl all have potential P5 opponents, which is also cool.
