Former SMU running back Donte Womack's old high school Pulaski Academy in Little rock is trying some novel ideas on the football field. They never punt the football.

we didn't punt the ball the last several games either. We did have someone drop the ball and attempt to kick it down field.

I remember that when we hired June Jones, I thought that we were going to be trying a lot of new, outside the box strategies...

Could you imagine if we were the best program in the country at executing onside kicks? What if we attempted a trick play once a half? Why don't we fake our opponents out on kickoffs like MSU did vs. OSU?

The revolutionary new thinking this year has been dink-and-dunk passing and a QB run game? When's the last time June came up with something genuinely unique?

This is not new for them. This coach has never punted and has been at PA for a few years. He says the rules give you 4 downs to make 10 so why give up one of the downs. They have been very successful although I think they got upset in the playoffs this year.

I wouldnt say never punts. They did punt 5 times this year. 4 by the QB. I heard an interview with him from Slate where he said the QB had never practiced punting and he made him do it because he was mad at him.

Womack + Wishbone = Heisman Combination

Never should have sat him out in the TCU game. Oops
