Nick Saban... Get the CoC to Pony up $10+ million a year collectively for him.... What's a couple mil a year to Billionaires that are pretty old to give SMU and themselves more publicity that they could ever imagine. Not to mention some kick*** football. I don't make much but I give probably the same percentage of my income to the school as a million or so would be to them. Not to mention the priceless gift myself and others gave the fans of playing for the ponies during two 1-11 seasons. 8) If that is not devotion I don't know what is.

The well is drying up. The school needs to come up with money to pay for facilities/coaches etc. and it can't depend on the CoC forever. We need P5 TV revenues...$21 million goes a looong way!

Make that 20 million with another 5 million for assistants and Saban's agent might take the call.

Kirby Smart gets paid $3.8 in Alabama...and I guess his OC is as expensive too...so it will be way more for assistants. Saban is not a good deal for SMU and we are not a good deal for him/his staff.
