JJ: ok guys, we need to discuss our needs and plans for next year.

Mason: June I need about 8 more defensive recruits.

JJ; Tom, I have already told you that my 12 additional WRs, 2 OL and 3 RBs It is going to practically fill our open slots. However, I will let you have 2 recruits since we may convert one to a RB or WR later. Besides you know my philosophy is to just score more than the opponents. We just need to 11 guys on the field when the other team has the ball.

JJ: yes Timmy, what do you need?

TC; coach the players keep asking to wear the old Pony Express style blue unis. What should I tell them.

JJ: Timmy I told them that the team would vote and I did. They will be wearing red.

Yes, Carlos- what do you need?

Carlos: uhh coach I thought special teams was what we were supposed to be. I didn’t know that was something I was supposed to teach. So, will you authorize casper to give me a permission note to buy a book on coaching special teams? I think they have one at Barnes&Noble. If not my friend told me they had a lot of coaching type books at TCU. Maybe I should go there to get the book.

JJ: all of you will be happy to know what I am having installed in our fball coaches dept. as your Christmas present. It is an automated phone answering system.

I have started working and planning on some messages so if you have any ideas let me know.
It will answer by saying: ‘thank you for calling our football coaches dept’. We are sorry that we can not answer the phone personally but we are busy making new overhead transparencies for next season. We are sure you will understand.
