Saturday's Bowls

Rutgers tied with ND at half.13-13. Could be highlite of SMU's season. We almost beat the team that is tied with ND at half when Notre Dame is only a season from getting blown out by Alabama in National Championship. Is that a stretch?

If there was ever a play that would expose sub-standard CB technique...this is it

I'm too depressed to watch bowl games this year. We lost to this Rutgers team in 3 OTs, we lose to Cincy by 3 points when we miss 2 field goals and, heck, we even hung with TT and should have won that game, and then lose GG. We could have easily been an 8 win team this year going into a bowl. If GG doesn't get hurt, we'd get some headlines in the bowl season due to his story and top 5 national numbers (including DJ and JJ). Just a "what ifs" season. So close, yet so far (DMN has a story with a headline with us below Rice and Houston). Just depressing . .

19-16 ND in 4th Q. A Rutgers victory could vindicate June Jones' statue worthy Coaching performance this year against such a tooouuugh schedule

I thought June's plan was to schedule down instead of recruiting up.

We could honor our heritage with King Kamehameha Day when it is traditional to toss leis upon a Golden Idol:
