It looks like NTSU has a nice following in the Cotton Bowl. Granted it is pretty much home game but still it is impressive.

Nice step for the program. Best possible Bowl for NTSU to rally some of the TV fans. I kind would like to see SMU in this Bowl against the Big 10 to see if SMU fans could fill some of those seats against say a Minnesota or Iowa. I would think it would be somewhat difficult to draw fans against UNLV at 11 on New Years when there are other good games on TV

I saw that, it was a nice tribute to him. He had it all, great athlete, polite, respectful, Heisman Trophy winner, good looks. The All American boy

Nice uni upgrade for the Iggles as well.

Watching Tulane, Rice and NTSU in bowls while the Mustangs stay home is a bit of a bitter pill to swallow.

First Half wasn't very impressive but in second half NTSU has looked solid both offensively and defensively

Traditional Big Ten teams now 0-4 in Bowl games.
Nebraska survived 2 4th down drops by Georgia TEs inside 20 to account for only Big 10 Bowl win
Big Ten is 1-9 in Rose Bowls
Maryland lost their Bowl game too

Don't they have 35,000 students and 2 million alums in the area?

Attendance at Heart of Dallas game was actually down at 38,380. I think previous games had Big 10 teams and/or Big 12 teams. I think NTSU easily had more than Baylor and probably close to Tech. UNLV brought nothing.

Correction: Baylor didn't play in that Bowl-I was thinking about end of season game against Texas Tech played in Cotton Bowl stadium a few years back
