His draft value is at a very high point. Good move imo.

Sort of saw that coming ... esp after his interview/comments post game. I think the young man will be a first rounder, and I think he will be a gem in the NFL. I thought that at the SMU game a few years ago (after the TCU Victory), when he came in for Godfrey in the 3rd qtr. I was like ... who is this kid and why did he not start ... and that goodness he didn't.

Seeing tons of early mock drafts that have him going to jax at number three.

I'd take Manziel over him in a heartbeat, but maybe that's jsut me. I agree that it's the right move for him right now to come out. I highly doubt his stock would be higher next year with all the quality QBs returning to school.

I hope the Texans take him

Texans would be fools not to take Bridgewater. Best QB coming out this year, hands down. Manziel doesn't have the size...he could be great but he's a smaller version of Russell Wilson without the intangibles between the ears.

I bet Bortles goes before Manziel. Gilbert will be a mid-rounds pick and a great get for someone as a project/back-up.

I think bortles before MAzniel as well. There will be questions about Manziel's maturity level in addition to knocks on his size. Bortles will probably be seen as the safer pick, unless Jacksonville is really eager to sell tickets and takes JM. I could also see Houston trading out of the #1 pick and taking JM later in the first round

Good for Bortles though the conference will miss out on the opportunity to have a legit preseason Top 15 team.

Look for Garrett to go in the sixth round to qb guru Marc Trestman

Hope not, since they just gave Cutler a long-term deal. No question GG should wait his turn behind a veteran and learn, but not a vet with a contract that long. Or you could send him to Jacksonville, Cleveland or Houston and he might be the best guy in camp from day one.
