this time of year the newspapers/media/alums would be talking about recruits like Roy Martin, Don King, Jeff Adkins etc?

Not pining for yesteryear, but apart from our recruiting site here at Ponyfans, there is nary a peep from external sources (read media, not Scouts, etc).

Down here in aggieland, folks know which coach(s) contacted which athlete…there is a buzz. Virtually ALL of the position coaches recruit.

If for no other reason that there is not even the APPEARANCE of recruiting going on at the Hilltop, I am not particularly positive for the next four years of our football. It is apparent that the current coaching staff CAN coach the talent once it gets to campus, especially if we are to believe that recruiting is/has not been a high priority during the past JJ years.

Not to stir up an old stink about a tired subject…but apart from occasional Stallion reports and Recruiting here there is virtual silence. I remember different days, and wish them again.
