I hope Gilbert has a good showing, we need to keep up the trend of having Mustangs taken in the draft. Maybe a couple other guys show enough athleticism/skills to at least get picked up as UFA's.

What about the other seniors? Ben Gottschalk, Jeremy Johnson, and Kenneth Aker are looking to make an impression. They have been working with advanced trainers and they are very capable of turning in some great performances. You are all fixated on the QB, but who gave him time to throw, caught the ball, and knocked down passes? 21 of the Seahawk's 53 man roster were UFA's.

Don't overlook Keenan Holman. Bigger WR with good speed who had a terrific season.

This SMU draft class is all about Garrett

If he has a good Pro Day, I think Acker gets picked, maybe in the 6th

GG is getting absolutely no mention in the national media. I hoped he would be periodically mentioned as a late round or sleeper prospect, but not even whisper of his name.
