Any news on him? Is he still committed?
-It appears that this was based on a misinformed post. All is fine

Yeah, what's the deal here? He signed his LOI last month. Seems odd that something could change so fast, especially since he was committed to SMU for so long. Hope he's here next season

I was told that the day he was supposed to be admitted he pulled his intent and admissions was told to put his admit to the side. That is all I know. I was very surprised when I heard the news. Was excited to see this kid play...

On the other thread, someone asked if Colbert was at spring practice. Isn't he still in high school? I wasn't under the impression he graduated early. I'm not a doctor, but I don't think recruits attend college until after they graduate...

Some players graduate in December and enroll in January so that they can acclimate themselves to college during the offseason and participate in Spring Practice.

No doubt. I just didn't think Colbert was an early graduate. Can someone please confirm with Myles Turner's principal what going on here?

Why don't you wait until someone can articulate what you mean because you are not making any sense. We know he signed (Letter of INTENT). What does "pulled his intent" mean? Letter of INTENT is a binding enforceable agreement obligated him to SMU unless waived. We know he wasn't supposed to be ADMITTED until Fall anyway. (What does the "day he was supposed to be admitted" mean?) Are you saying he was think about early enrolling at SMU last January or that he is not enrolling at SMU in August or ever? Do you know what you are writing? The kid by all accounts has good grades.

To my knowledge, Colbert was never an early enrollee.
