As a Chicago Bears fan, it is an unfortunate loss. He is popular here and did an excellent job backfilling for Jay Cutler, better on occasion than Jay without the arm. Solid game manager. Trestman liked him.

Good luck, Josh -- a prime example of a guy who works hard and deals with the hurdles life throws at him. I'm not a Texans fan, but I'll be rooting for him.

huh, what do the Texans have to do with this? McCown signed with Tampa Bay.

Sorry. I meant Tampa, not Texans. ESPN was talking about someone signing with Houston when I wrote it.
I meant the Bucs, and I'm still going to cheer for McCown.
