Is this the day we pay our players, and make them paid pros ? I love Mustang traditions. started in the early 80's, and seen through by the capable regime of Bobby Collins and his brilliant assistant, who used SMU envelopes to send out payments.

I have worked out 100's of NFL QB's in my day, Garrett Gilbert's workout today was the 2nd best one I have ever seen!! Next to Jeff George.

I heard the guys on 103.3FM saying some pretty good things about Garrett's workout and his game in general.

It's hard to believe GG doesn't get a decent shot at the NFL. Glad to hear he had a good day today!

@Gil_Brandt: #SMU QB Garrett Gilbert had unbelievable pro day. Completed 88 of 89 passes (if he had NFL WR would have been 89). 6-4,223, 4.83 40 Apparently Cole Beasley follows this guy. Came up on my twitter feed

Do you not know who Gil Brandt is? Tex Schram, Tom Landry, and Gil Brandt built the cowboys. Not sure what his specific title was, but he is still very respected in pro scouting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
