Forgot to link yesterday. Garrett Gilbert and June Jones spoke to all assembled media at SMU's Pro Day, and PonyFans.com also caught up with Kenneth Acker, who ran some pass routes as a receiver for scouts. (Acker's interview has a nice video bomb by a former SMU teammate …)
Check out the videos on our home page!

Thanks for posting.
I can't help but feel sad whenever I see an interview with GG. Sad that he got hurt. Sad we didn't beat Rutgers and UCF to give him an opportunity to go out "the right way" in a bowl game. Imagine the publicity his numbers would have gotten him and the program (he was on a statistical roll). But, I'm glad he came here and wish him all the luck in the world.
I hope somebody gets drafted.

Interviews with Garrett are always awesome. Realistically, he has been training for this opportunity for years - including the media part.
He will get a fair chance and I won't be a bit surprised when he is successful.

2013 Gilbert with the 2012 defense would have been a formidable team.

I think GG is going to be wildly successful in the NFL. I'm calling it now

If so, should we be happy a mustang succeeds, sad we had talent of his level and wasted it, happy because it discredits June's mythology, sad because it is a commentary on the lack of supporting talent, or happy because the next coach may have similarly untapped talent to use?
