Big week for @SMU_Football... All 9 ACs getting after it in DFW this week. Will hit well over 100 schools in Metroplex.

At some point you have to get engaged in the social media wars that go on. Hopefully this is a sign that we will move forward in that respect. Perception is reality, and since JR and AK left, there just hasn't been much of a social media presence from the staff.

Did hell just freeze? Are we attempting to recruit locally? I guess someone had the epiphany that a local car ride is cheaper and maybe more efficient than a plane.

Maybe a little of LB's staff is rubbing off? Or maybe administration suggested that JJ take a similar approach?

In any event, this is good news if the staff makes a legitimate effort. We can offer these recruits a great education and JJ and his staff are good coaches. Maybe we'll find a few (dozen) who will give us a serious look.

I wonder how they will sell the facilities to these recruits since June made the public comments about the SMU facilities not being up to par.

Just think if they had consistently been doing this for the last 6 years. Now we have to see if they go after the good players or if they are doing this just for show and still do not pursue the best uncommitted players out there. We'll see.
