This was just posted on SMU Facebook feed.... Tornado warning is over and the SMU Football photo shoot goes on! #PonyUp I would LOVE for these to be our home uniforms this year. And maybe break out the all red helmets for a game, too.

Wish they'd put stripes on the damn pants, but if we go with blue home unis, I'm not gonna complain

Agreed, and make the stripes wider on the middle of the helmet. One day I will be named AD and I will make all of the necessary changes.

I agree that the pants need stripes just like the ones on the helmets.

Isn't that in one of our big theatre-like meeting rooms? Thought June said they didn't have any...

I hope these become the home ones but I doubt it.
Not a big fan of the red helmets.

Believe there was also a rumor that we would bust out grey pants this year, too. I personally hope we stick with the all-white away look, it's really clean, especially if the white jersey is the same style as the blue one with lettering and numbers.

I don't think we're getting anything 'new'. Same shoes/jerseys as last year. This blue jersey is probably for another "special game" and not a regular home look (same ones we had for Rutgers last year).
I like the all whites, too. Really clean.
But, I hope I'm wrong.

Unless something has changed since December, I don't believe that's correct. From the NYC Mustang Club Event with Rick Hart:aus10fromhous10 wrote:Two sets of jerseys have been ordered for 2014: red (home) and white (away). Aside from the primary color, they will have a similar (if not identical) layout to the 2013 blue jerseys — meaning no more stripes on the shoulders and the "SMU" lettering will replace the mustang logo over the number on the front.
Hart said the goal for football uniforms is to have a lot of pieces that can be mixed and matched. This year, football had one style of pants and one helmet. They're going to add a second pair of pants in a different color. Hart said options being considered include red, blue and gray, but nothing was decided.

Not only that, but Rick penned a Straight From The Hart that included mentioning ordering red and white unis in the same style as the blue ones and a second pair of pants. It's been linked here several times before.
