Gottschalk agrees

As he predicted, SMU offensive lineman Ben Gottschalk said minutes after the end of the 2014 draft that he has reached an agreement to sign a three-year with the Kansas City Chiefs. (His other options included the New Orleans Saints and Philadelphia Eagles.)

Great for Ben.
I have heard of two-year deals to entice players to sign but a three-year deal is impressive.

Ben was a pretty darn good lineman for us. Sounds like Andy Reid and KC really like him and that he's got a shot to stick there. Hope he does.

He had a good career at SMU. Glad AK got him for us. Hope he has a long pro career.

Great for Ben. Met him at least year's Kick-Off Football Luncheon, seemed like a really squared away kid. I hope he does well in his camps and preseason and sticks with KC.
