Look diva, read what I wrote. If it was an SMU player, I can guarantee the NCAA would be all over it!

Based on what? Identify a single fact you relied upon to reach your conclusion. See definition of prejudice in the Dictionary.

What he is asking is how do you know it was "definitely bought by Alabama football"? It should be a very simple question to answer.

As the owner of a Challenger SRT, I find it humorous to think it's a story. The guy is driving a base level, small-block Challenger with a couple aesthetic mods. It's not even the R/T package. It only runs in the low-20s. Not exactly a breaking news story when a kid gets 20K car with a small-block engine. Wouldn't be too tough to get a good loan w/ low monthly payments.

Something tells me that I will regret even commenting on this topic.....but here goes. I have absolutely know idea who payed for or is paying for this car that this student athlete is standing next to. For those who say it is none of my business, I beg to differ. I know that it is the internent, but one of the comments following the article, says this particular student athelete, comes from a median house hold income of $41,1000. A car payment even in the low 20's will be substantial for a student with no job. I guess we should all just look the other way and pretend the elephant is not in the room. It is Alabama and the SEC afterall.

When I played just a few years ago we had guys driving over $100K cars and many with SUV's around $50K... Makes that challenger look pretty amateur and nobody came asking us about cars. 2006-2010

Well, then in that case all is well. I guess we can assume that the NCAA is following the rule of don't ask, don't tell policy. Which is fine with me as long as it is universally applied. None of this stuff about it is ok for Alabama and not ok for Middle Tennesse State.

Maybe his parents saved for college, but with a full scholarship they used the money instead to buy their son a car?
