Awful news because BYU belongs in the grand scheme of college football! They beat the NCAAs golden child Texas last year incase anyone forgot! 8)

BYU also puts 60k butts in seats on gameday. On that basis alone, they "belong"

BYU would make an excellent addition to the west division of the American. They would travel very well to Dallas, and I think they're the premiere non-P5 program in college football besides Notre Dame, which is a P5 school for all intents and purposes.
