2015/16 home and home with Bama?

"Can somebody help Battle out and play Alabama? Sounds like the Tide would even take a home-and-home at this point, but Battle said he's not sure that's feasible because “everybody's scheduled for '15.â€"
Why not? I believe we have a vacancy on our 2015 schedule with only Baylor, TCU, and UNT scheduled OOC right now. If they were willing to do a home and home and come to Dallas in 2016 I would hop on it. Yes, we'd get whipped and it wouldn't be close, but talk about getting your name out there, building your brand, and selling SMU to fans from other conferences. Also Alabama and Nick Saban playing us in Dallas would be the main college football attraction in the DFW area of the weekend- bar none.
Besides TCU who is our traditional rival, I don't see much value to scheduling other Big 12 teams in the future that want nothing to do with us in their conference. Might as well start scheduling P5 teams from other conferences that will travel well to Dallas- which would be pretty much any SEC team besides Kentucky, and also a lot of Big Ten schools and Pac-12 schools (although not Wazzu - I think we had 18k when we played them in Dallas)
By the way, June would flip his [deleted] if we scheduled Alabama. But he probably won't be here in six months, so...
