Sports Clips

so I got my haircut at the Sports Clips on Park and Preston in Plano yesterday. you know how they have various peices of sports memorabilia on display? when it comes to college stuff, they typically represent the usual suspects (UT, A&M, TCU, Tech, OU, OkSt). But at this Sports Clips, as far as college stuff goes, all they had was a big picture of Doak Walker in action and an artist's drawing of Ford Stadium prominently and proudly displayed. I thought it was cool that we got a nod but none of the other schools did. (a very rare occurance around here).

Nice that there is some recognition of the program. I think if the BB team has another great year then Dallas will start changing its perception of SMU athletics. I am in and out of Love about twice a month and I have not noticed any SMU gear (no A$M, TTU or TCU for that matter. A few TU items).

As am I and what I have noticed is a huge SF Austin add saying "Lumberjacks make great basketball players" right next to the Baylor add and both of them were about 25 yards from an add for UT business schools. They have some TCU stuff in the Fair Park store.

I don't think there is a single SMU thing in Love Field. That's like our home airport for crying out loud
