It's not that hard to NOT hit a woman, guys. Fortunately for Mixon he's at OU and Stoops doesn't seem to take this sort of thing very seriously (see: Dorial Green-Beckham)

Hopefully the tape is released of the incident. Until then I won't take a side on the matter.

i don't think there is much doubt he struck her - and for that he gets my disdain regardless of the circumstances

The OU boards apparently don't share that same opinion. They seem to think the story will out so that he will seem completely justified in his action. Some speculate that she used a racial slur, which some on their boards seem to think makes this ok.

Some others say that Stoops will not stand for this type of behavior and has a track record to prove that. I guess they're forgetting about their new star WR.

Yeah, just because a woman calls you a racial slur doesn't give you the liberty the beat the crap out of her.

Wow! Stoops came down hard.
Scholarship revoked. Kicked off team. Can stay in school if he pays his own way. I doubt he'll stay after this.
Surprised somewhat, but not really.

Finally someone that doesn't presume guilt immediately. I by no means condone that behavior, but I get sick of the society we live in when everyone is guilty by the media or personal opinion.
Also, Green-Beckham was never even charged with a crime, it was allegedly if I recall.
They gave a solid punishment for this Mixon kid it seems though. He won't be in Norman long, would be my guess.
